Benny Floyd Martin of Kiefer, OK, passed from this life on May 10, 2021, at St. John’s of Tulsa with family, friends, and loved ones by his side.
Benny was born September 26, 1949, in Ft. Smith, AR, to Floyd and Helen Martin. He attended high school in Sallisaw, OK. He worked for Tank Trucks Inc. in 1979 and again later in 1990 before purchasing the company in 2002, where he remained as the owner and operator until his passing.
Benny married Janet Horn and had two children: David and Amy. Then, Benny married Mary Stephens and had three children: Chrissy, Benny, and Chase. He later married Harvie June in 1995, where he inherited two more sons Jeremy and Joshua and welcomed his last baby girl, Jessica.
Benny loved admiring old cars and loved tinkering on them even more. He loved to go camping and to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also loved his banana pudding!
His playful and loving personality will be forever missed by his family and all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Harvie June, his beloved children; Amy, David, Chrissy, Jeremy, Benny, Joshua, Chase, and Jessica; along with his 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Donna Haddox (husband Benny Ray Haddox) and Cassie Underwood.
In death, he has been reunited with his parents Floyd “Rufus” Martin and Helen Oleta Belter. Their loving spirits will surround his grieving family with love.
Services for Benny Floyd Martin will be Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Newspring Family Church, Family Center, located at 2907 W 108th Pl. S, Jenks, OK 74037.
Family visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home located at 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, OK 74066.
