Andrew Kyle McDonald passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 33. He was born on September 19, 1988, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Andrew was a family man. His pride and joy were his wife, Jenifer Breanne McDonald and his two children, Alora Lynn McDonald (age 10) and Thomas James McDonald (age 8). Everything that Andrew did, was done with his family’s best in mind. If you wanted to see him smile, you only had to ask him about Jenifer or one of the kids and he would light up, telling story after story about the things he was doing for them or what he was teaching the kids and we can’t forget about the dogs, Akeelah and Bear. He spent his free time doing things for others, investing in his family and friends, and working his homestead, which he lovingly called the A & J Farm.
Andrew proudly served his country in the United States Army, from 2007-2017 as a 92 Yankee in supply and logistics. He served 3 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. The McDonald family moved to Sapulpa, OK in 2017 and Andrew took a job at Ardagh Glass, Inc. in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where he made many friends.
Andrew is preceded in death by his Grandparents Burton and June Carter, and Jim and Betty McDonald, father, Jim McDonald, and his older sister, Diana Lynn Sweet. He leaves behind many loving memories to be cherished by his wife Jenifer McDonald, his daughter Alora McDonald, his son Thomas James McDonald of Sapulpa, OK, his mother Brenda McDonald of Glenpool, OK, and sisters, Andrea Johnson of Springfield, MO, Crystal Lyle of Berryville, Arkansas, and Brenda J. McDonald, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his In-Laws, Eric and Candace Lewis of Colgate, Oklahoma, and Mike and Heidi Tanner of McCallister, Oklahoma as well as numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033. Services will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Service, with Pastor Brandon Lyle officiating.
