Alice Faye Spurgeon passed from this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the age of 73. She was born to Willie and Fronie (Smith) Denham on January 9, 1946 in Watkins, OK.
Alice has been a resident of Sand Springs for the last nine years and had previously resided in Sapulpa. She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.
Alice was preceded in death her parents, her first husband, Ronald Spurgeon, and her brothers, Mikey and Donald Denham.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Simpson of Sand Springs; son, Ronnie Spurgeon of Sand Springs; daughter, Dana Chaffin and husband, Craig of Sand Springs; five grandchildren, Chad, Martin, Josh, Jesse, and Amanda; and five great grandchildren, Isaac, Chad Jr., Ryan, Tucker, and Kipton.
A memorial service will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. Family requests casual dress when attending her service. An informal graveside service will follow the service in Duck Creek Cemetery in Liberty for those wishing to attend.
