Mary Alice Slaybaugh, 84, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2022.

Mary was born August 16, 1937, in Sapulpa, OK to Hazel and Charles Calvert Slaybaugh.

She graduated from Sapulpa High School. Mary worked at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center for 20 years as a nurse’s aide and in the nursery with the newborns. She also worked for her sister, Linda Collins, at Linda’s Tax Service as a tax preparer.

Mary was a member of the Pretty Water Freewill Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was involved in many church activities.

In her spare time, she loved reading scripture, crocheting, spending time with her friends, family and her pet cats!

She is preceded in death by her mother Hazel, father Charles Calvert Slaybaugh and sister Linda Collins.

She is survived by her nephew Charles Collins and wife Jennifer; great nephews Danial Alexander and Zackary Matthew Collins and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in the Chapel at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa following the service.
