Spring has sprung in Sapulpa and a new nursery, Sun Fair, has arrived just in time for your planting needs.
Located at 921 N 9th Street, they will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
“Our main focus is annual spring flowers, but we’ll carry a wide selection of perennials, vegetables, and some tropical plants throughout the spring,” said Brennan Doyle, owner and manager.
They plan to open on Monday, April 10, and will remain open to the public until the end of the spring season around Memorial Day.
Our big difficulty in opening has been weather, Doyle said. The wind of the past few weeks has caused some delays in construction of the hoop houses, but that’s just Oklahoma for you!
“Sapulpa really stands out in Green Country, the area is beautiful, the people are welcoming and friendly, and it has a tight-knit small town feel that was really appealing to us, he said.
With the addition of iron fencing and hoop houses, this will be a permanent location for the nursery and they will be growing plants on site starting next year.
Doyle said, “We really appreciate all of the support from the city and look forward to opening day!”
