McCormick joins Bob Nale Realty

There’s a new real estate agent in town. Well, not new to the town and not new to real estate either.

Steve McCormick who retired from American National Bank in January acquired his real estate license in July and has now joined Bob Nale Realty.

Helping people get a home isn’t a new thing for McCormick. His banking career included an extensive background in real estate lending.

“After my retirement from AHB,” McCormick said, “I felt I still had quite a bit of fire to learn something new . . . and getting my real estate license would be a good way to continue learning and helping people in buying a home, vacant land, or commercial property.”

It was during McCormick’s banking career that he developed a business relationship with Bob Nale. They also had become good friends through work and in the running world.

“After my retirement, I visited with Bob on the possibility of me joining him in his business, Nale Realtors, and him mentoring me in the real estate business,” McCormick said. “He generously allowed me to come join him.”

Nale, who has been the premier local realtor in Sapulpa since the 1970s, said he is more than happy to have McCormick on board.

“I told him I was tired of working so hard,” Nale said laughing. [Readers would do well to get their hands on a copy of “The Bob Nale Story,” we helped publish].
