MAP: Everything You Need to Know for The Blowout

Sapulpa’s Rt. 66 Blowout is arguably the premier event of the year for our town. Classic cars, great food and fun for everyone bring troves of people to downtown.

This being the 28th installment of our beloved annual event, the folks that put the show on have taken cues and lessons learned in the past and put them to good use this time around. Now you’ll find more events, more organized, and spread out over a number of streets for easier traffic flow.

The Route 66 Blowout has a number of activities and events for the entire family. Here are just a few of the events you can plan on seeing this year:

Route 66 Car Show – Vintage and Modern cars and trucks compete for bragging rights and prizes!

Kid’s Zone – Visit the Kid’s Zone for inflatables, face painting, fun & games!

Sapulpa Arts “Route 66 Art Show & Sale” – located at Over Edukated, featuring Sapulpa’s talented artists. Be sure to stop by and view the special “6 x 6 Collection.”

Sapulpa Historical Society’s Waite Phillips Filling Station – Step back in time to 1922, by visiting the newly restored Waite Phillips Filling Station. The Sapulpa Fire Museum and Historical Society Museum will be open as well!

Downtown Shopping & Dining – Sapulpa’s downtown merchants offer a unique shopping & dinning experience. Stop in and shop while your here!

The New Food Court – enjoy all our event food vendors in one new location, complete with covered seating.

Arts & Crafts Vendors – The streets will be lined with vendors to offer you unique arts & crafts!
