The annual “Kid’s Fest” event put on as part of the Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market is happening this weekend, according to Sapulpa Main Street Director Cindy Lawrence.
The Farmers Market, which runs from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturdays during the summer season, will include not only its usual lineup of fresh produce, meats and plants but will have live music and stuff for the kids as part of this special event.
The Book and Snack Mobile, an award-winning treat from Caring Community Friends, will be onsite at the Courthouse parking lot from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
The Sapulpa Parks Recreation Roadshow will also be at Saturday’s Kid Fest event, with outdoor games and activities for those who want to have a little fun as well. If you can’t wait, the Recreation Roadshow will actually be at McGoy Park tonight for their Family Recreation Road Show Hour:
The Farmers Market has been operating under a COVID-19 plan in accordance with CDC guidelines since the beginning of the 2020 season in May. The plan includes a hand-washing station, hand sanitizers at each booth and and at the entrance, as well as social distancing signs. Lawrence said this plan will continue for the Kid’s Fest event as well.
