Kante Group donates to SPS eSports club, opening first eSports facility in the area on Main Street in Sapulpa

The Kante Group has presented a $10,000 donation to the Sapulpa Public Schools eSports Club, and is renovating a building on Main Street in Sapulpa to be the first “eSports Café” in the area, according to a press release by The Kante Group.

The donation, presented on February 24th by Alan Kante of the Kante Group, is a great boost to Sapulpa’s eSports program, which formally launched in the spring of 2019.

The Kante Group is remodeling 111 S. Main Street (at one time a “Glo-Putt” golfing facility) into what they’re calling an eSports Café named the Waypoint Lounge, and is working with Sapulpa Public Schools to grow their eSports gaming club to engage as many students as possible. “We are excited to bring a new and exciting venue to Sapulpa where gamers of all ages can come to enjoy a wide variety of digital, virtual, and analog games,” explains Kante.

The purchase comes on the heels of an announcement earlier this week that the Kante Group had also purchased the iconic TeePee Drive-In and was confirmed to be renovating it.
