Jingle Bells Sweepstakes Draws Crowds

The 2022 Sapulpa Main Street Jingle Bells Sweepstakes was met with the usual crowd of hopefuls, despite the chilly temperatures.

This year Sapulpa Main Street opted to not only award the $10,000 prize, but also four $1,000 prizes, and two $500 prizes, as well as the additional $500 after-event drawing that comes just a few days later.

The Herald asked each winner what they planned to do with their prizes. Unsurprisingly, most said Christmas shopping or paying bills was the general answer. Grand Prize Winner Marty Stickler could afford to be a little more ambitious, and he was: “I am hoping to buy a little utility tractor,” he said. “I have got some land, and I have an old tractor, but I need a better one.”
