The ongoing pandemic has prompted many voters to choose to vote by mail in the upcoming elections. The two most common means of securing an absentee ballot are going online to apply for a ballot or obtaining an application from the Creek County Election Board.

To apply for a ballot online, simply go to www.elections.ok.gov and click on the OK Voter Portal link which will take you to the OK Voter Portal Access link. You will then be directed to a page that gives links to voter information and voter services. Under the heading of Voter Services, you will check a box marked Request an Absentee Ballot. You then click on a box marked Begin, and from there you will be given step by step instructions.

You may apply for an absentee ballot by calling the Creek County Election Board at 918-227-3529. An application will be mailed to you with instructions to fill it out properly. You may also go to the Creek County Election Board office at 230 E. Hobson Ave. Their hours of operation are from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patrons are encouraged to wear masks.
