As quickly as Dick’s on 66 started opening for breakfast, they’re now calling it quits on that and switching it up to be open until 8:00 PM for dinner.
Owner Angie Goins said that the move was made because there just wasn’t enough public interest in the breakfast side of things. The food was not bad at all—we had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on texas toast. It was a great option for an on-the-go breakfast run, but evidently, Dick’s wasn’t selling its breakfast items enough to be worth the hassle.
Though the hot dog shop is largely becoming known for its lunchtime favorites of burgers, dogs, and chili, Dick’s dinner options will bring a bit more variety, Goins said, including “a chicken philly (cheesesteak sandwich), chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and a few dinner platters.”
Goins said the new dinner options will kick off on Wednesday, July 15th, and the new hours will be 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, making it one of downtown Sapulpa’s only options for evening eating.
