The 2021/2022 INCOG REAP resolution was adopted unanimously. INCOG representative Barbara Albritton reported that this is the 26th year for this program, and that it has had a couple of changes with increased funding. She said that there are three direct applications for each county commissioner and that they can also sponsor rural fire departments and rural water districts.
Albritton said that Creek County Districts 2 and 3 have funded applications currently, with 81st Street and Airport Road. INCOG’s REAP grant amounts have increased this year from $40K to $50K and transportation grants from $60K to $80K, so Districts 2 and 3 could resubmit their applications on their current projects to maximize the amount approved.
Applications are due by October 15th and INCOG will approve applications for submission to the Department of Commerce on December 15. Contracts would be ready in January of next year.
