In its Tuesday, September 6th meeting, Creek County Commissioners unanimously passed a motion correcting a resolution to surplus a 2016 Ford Explorer Police Pursuit Vehicle to be transferred to the Mounds Police Department. Sheriff Bret Bowling told the board the VIN was incorrect on the previous resolution.
The Board unanimously passed a motion to dispose of Trackhoe Trailer Loadcraft that had been previously surplus and transferred to Drumright Fire Department. Commissioner Whitehouse told the Board there was finding the serial in a timely fashion and missed the time window.
Commissioners unanimously passed a motion to credit the Creek County Sheriff’s Outlay Fund with two checks in the amount of $4,993.36 and $7, 761.92, and an additional check for $6,070.23 to be deposited into the cash account 1223-0400-2005, from ACCO (Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma) as a supplement for Sheriff’s vehicle damages.
The Board unanimously passed a motion to approve a utility permit request from Oklahoma Natural Gas per County pecs to lay a natural gas pipeline crossing 43rd West Avenue approximately 1.10 miles South and 1.94 miles West of US-75and SH-66Counsel Andrew Goforth updated the board on an issue with the sam.gov (a website used to apply for federal funds) registration.”I think once the issue is resolved, we will see the water and sewer projects starting to kick off.”
The Commissioners gave an update on their road and bridge projects. Newt Stephens, District 1, said: “We have completed ours.” Leon Warner, District 2, said: “We are still waiting to finish up ours.”
The Board unanimously passed a motion to transfer a self-contained water and foam fire suppression system purchased with ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds to Creek County Emergency Management.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Monday, September 12 at 9 a.m., at the Collins Building.
