Senator James Leewright remembered Whitehouse as a pubic servant of tremendous integrity, dedication, and as a long-time friend and family man who loved serving Creek County as Commissioner of District 3.

“He’s been such an important figure for Bristow and Creek County, and my family really considers Lane and his family part of ours,” Leewright said.

State Representative Kyle Hilbert said he was “deeply saddened” by the news of Whitehouse’s passing.

“This is a huge loss for our county and our community,” Hilbert said. “Lane is someone I could always count on for advice and a helping hand when needed. I’m praying for his loved ones and looking forward to the day we will see each other again.
