Cimarron Transit providing on-demand public transportation via Uber App

Expanded public transportation service is now available evenings and Saturdays. The new option, PICK, uses ADA vehicles to provide on demand public transportation Monday through Friday, 5pm to 10pm and Saturdays 10 to 2pm in the communities of Bartlesville, Cleveland, Ponca City, Sapulpa and Skiatook. The program utilizes Uber technology which can be downloaded from an app store. Cost is only $3 per ride.

Open the UBER application, choose to ride, enter the pickup and destination addresses, then select ‘PICK’ as the option for a $3 ride before selecting a method of payment.

Those without a desktop, iPhone or android phone can schedule trips through the call center, by calling 855-735-4826. The call center operates the same hours as PICK, 5 pm to 10 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. For more information, check out the website at www.oktransportation.com.
