Community transportation is the topic of public forums set during the week of Feb. 8. Cimarron Public Transit is hosting the event. The public is invited and encouraged to attend and share their feedback about the local transportation program.
Meetings will be held at the Bartlesville Public Library at 11 a.m. Feb. 8; Ponca City, City Hall, Barnes Room, 516 E. Grand Avenue at 11 a.m. Feb. 9; Family Resource Center, 319 E. Rogers Blvd., Skiatook, (across from Library) 11 a.m. Feb. 10; Central Technology Center, 1720 S. Main, Sapulpa at 11 a.m. Feb. 11 and UCAP Headquarters, 501 Sixth Street, Pawnee, at 11 a.m. Feb. 12.
Feedback gathered from the public will be taken into account as staff reviews and updates the agency’s transportation plan for fiscal year 2017. The plan will be included into the annual application for funding under Section 5311, formula grants for Rural Areas Program to provide financial assistance for a community transportation program.
