Attorney Mark Myles, Democratic nominee for State Attorney General, is the keynote speaker at this month’s Creek County Democratic meeting set for Thursday, June 21 in Sapulpa.
Stan Johnson, the Creek County Democratic Party chairperson, said the meeting will be held at Freddie’s Bar-B-Que and Steakhouse at 1425 New Sapulpa Road in Sapulpa.
The meeting was originally planned to be held in Bristow. However, Johnson said the venue had to change due to needed repairs at the meeting site.
Dinner is served at 6 pm at a cost of $11.00 per person (includes tip). There is no charge for the meeting, which begins at 6:30 PM.
Myles will address the state as having the highest incarceration rates in the country. He will speak on protecting public interest in land, air and water resources. He will also speak on protecting families, the rule of law and holding special interests accountable to the people of Oklahoma.
