Bristow’s Touch-A-Truck Event will feature a “Quiet Hour”

This year the Artisans and Gardeners Market is trying something new during their annual Touch-A-Truck Kids Day Event on August 5. There are community members that love trucks, but do not love the large sounds of the horn honking. This year, the Market is going to try a “Quiet Hour” to help those members enjoy our Touch-A-Truck Kids Day Event on August 5.

In April, a new vendor asked if we could offer a “no horn honking” event. “We had never thought of this idea before and said, why not? We’ll give it a try.” says event organizer Jamie Braden. “We want everyone to be able to enjoy the fun!”

With 25 confirmed rides, countless nonprofits with freebies, Fairytale Face Painting, CW369 Studio animal balloons, and 20+ vendors who make or grow their items for sale, the Artisans and Gardeners Market wants all families to feel that this event is for them. Spirit Bank, the Market, and Rotary Club of Bristow have teamed up to gather, shop for, and distribute thousands of dollars worth of school supplies to any family who needs them. No registration is required.
