The pole was stolen from Rex’s Barbershop near MLK and Mission Street in Sapulpa.
Police said they do not know why the someone would steal the pole, but the pole reportedly cost between $800 and $1,000.
Police said the thief pried the pole off the wall outside the barbershop.

The owner said he came to the shop Sunday morning and noticed screws on the ground and the pole missing.
The owner said the pole has been in the family for more than 30 years, so the shop owner got it from his grandfather who first opened the shop in Sapulpa in the late 60’s.
