The Board of County Commissioners approved three interlocal agreements between Creek County and other jurisdictions.
The first was an interlocal agreement between the Creek County’s Sheriff’s Office and the Drumright Police Department. Sheriff Bret Bowling said that this is the same agreement as the one between Mannford and Creek County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sapulpa Police Department and the Creek County Sheriff’s office. This agreement allows these agencies to be part of the Habitual and Violent Offender Crimes task force, and will enhance the ability of CCSO to monitor the activities of known habitual and violent criminals, and hopefully prevent further crime.
The next two interlocal agreements were between Ottawa County and Creek County, and between Craig and Creek County, to allow the housing of juvenile offenders from those two counties in the Creek County Juvenile detention center for the remainder of the 2022-
2023 fiscal year with the cost being $85.00 per day, per child.
