Glenpool schools consider options to deal with budget crisis

“It has been a stressful time to be a superintendent,” said Glenpool Public School Superintendent Jerry Olansen at a town hall meeting last week at Glenpool Elementary School.

Across the state, school districts are scrambling to meet a drastically decreasing budget, and Glenpool is not exempt.

Along with several other administrators, Olansen met a gym brimming with concerned parents and community members Thursday evening to share the districts financial status and plans for this year.
