BRISTOW—The Bristow, OK Artisans and Gardeners Market held their annual VENDORS ONLY meeting on April 1 welcoming over 30 registered vendors, new and returning vendors, to the 2023 lineup. The Market expects to see many more vendors register on Opening Day, May 6, who were unable to attend Saturday morning. The Market is also happy to boast about the 18 vendors that are bringing produce to Bristow this year! The Market strives to have homemade, homegrown, handmade products for the community made by community members.

The Artisans and Gardeners Market plans for twenty-two market days this season. The Artisans and Gardeners Market meets every Saturday from 8:08 – Noon from May through September with special events planned for the first Saturday of each month. Opening Day, May 6, coincides with the 100 Mile Yard Sale. During Opening Day the Market will have a potting station for children to plant seeds and learn more about germination and the life cycle of a plant. In June, they plan to recognize the incredible egg with National Egg Day and Bristow, America’s Birthday Bash is on July 1. August will bring their amazing Touch-A-Truck Kids Day Event and September will welcome back its Fall Festival.

The Artisans and Gardeners Market would like to team up with local businesses for Opening Day, May 6. Vendors have offered to add coupons and business cards to their booths to help shoppers go further into Bristow. “We realize that the 100 Mile Yard Sale will bring shoppers from other areas and even other states to our Market and we want to tell them more about our town and great places to eat, visit, and shop downtown,” says Market Social Media Specialist, Rebecca Evans. Businesses can contact the Market’s Facebook page and email to schedule a time for pick up of the coupons.
