December 29th, 2018 Heather Stacey Tedford, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 32. She was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing and lived in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Heather was born to Perry and Stacey Tedford April 16th, 1986 in Safford, Arizona. At the age of 8 years old her family relocated to Okmulgee, Oklahoma. At the age of 16 she met Daniel Smith and together they had two beautiful children. 1 son and 1 daughter. They also had a baby boy born sleeping. They shared 11 amazing years together before going their separate ways.
In 2013, she met her now fiancé Jonathan Grimes, he had a daughter from a previous relationship. Together they had a beautiful daughter in 2014. Heather was blessed to be a stay at home mother and enjoyed spending all of her time with her children.
Heather loved animals and spending time outdoors. She loved taking her dogs on walks. She loved fishing and couldn’t resist a perfect night by the fire pit surrounded by family and friends. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help her family and friends. She had a smile that would light up a room, which she kept until her passing. She was loved by many and her absence will be truly missed!
She is survived by her fiancé, Jonathan Grimes; her son, Kory; three daughters, Shyanna, Justyne, and AwnaLynn; her parents, Perry and Sherry Tedford and Gloria Tedford and Brian Wyatt; four brothers, Larry and Nhi Seebeck, Stephen and Marissa Tedford, Damon Andrews, and Brandon Heard; two sisters, Tiffany Dobbs, and Stephanie Steele;17 nephews; and 10 nieces.
She is preceded in death by her son, Tyler Ray; her brother, Justin Seebeck; brother- in-law, Robert Dobbs; and her grandparents.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Church Tulsa.
Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
