Fredie Eugene Parks, 89, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. was reunited with his beloved wife in heaven on Monday, June20, 2022.

Fred was born on October 14, 1932 to Homer and Avis Parks in Kiefer, Oklahoma. He attended Kiefer schools and earned degrees from The Oklahoma School of Accounting and the University of Tulsa. He was a member of the United States Army, where his service to his country took him to Germany from 1953 to 1954. While in Europe he explored many other countries, such as France and Switzerland, but he was eager to return home to the states and settle down.

Fred married his wife of 67 years, Mildred Parks, on February 11, 1955 and together they raised two children, Kim (Parks) Van Winkle and Keith Parks. For the next few decades, Fred was a local businessman who ran several restaurants and a grocery store before retirement. He was also an active member of the Sapulpa VFW and the Elks.
