We are here to celebrate the life and love of lifetime Sapulpa resident Charles Burton Ernst Sr. On June 30, 2020, Charles “Chuck” Ernst Sr., 70 had the gates open for him. Chuck stated life October 18, 1949 in Sapulpa, OK to his parents Edward and Alice Ernst Sr. Raised in Sapulpa he attended Sapulpa Schools where he graduated. Chuck then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. Afterwards his best enjoyment was being a loving husband, a blessed father, caring grandpa, fun brother, great uncle and a wonderful friend to all. Charles was welcomed into heaven by his wonderful wife of 53 years Barbara Ernst, his oldest son Charles Ernst Jr., a grandson, sisters Barbara Reeves, Bertha Sorrell, Mary West and Violet Clark. Brothers Edward Ernst Jr., James Jones and Wesley Jones. Charles has left many loved one’s daughters Joyce and Richard Hardesty, Constance and Gordon Reeves, sons Michael and Melissa Ernst, Steve Ernst all of Sapulpa. 5 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 1 great-granddaughter. Sisters Roxie Ruth and Faye Perkins plus many nieces and nephews, and not to forget all of his friends. Chuck shared many of his favorite pastimes with his family and friends, that included fishing, hunting, pro and college football, “How about them Chiefs?” and watching WWF Wrestling. Although the greatest times was watching his children and grandchildren grow and achieve their goals in life. Now that Heaven has added another great angel. May we all be blessed of a great angel to help guide us all.
