Betty Louise Stewart, 81, passed away February 19, 2020 at Glenwood Nursing Home in Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was born to Homer and Bonnie Reed on July 26, 1938 in their home in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Betty is survived by sister Ramona Withrow; 2 sons Roy and Coy Stewart; 6 grandkids, Shelby Stewart-Ethridge, Joy Parrish, Crystal Harris, Candice Gaches, Carl Stewart, and Chevi Stewart; 8 great-grandkids Julie and Jadyn Parrish, Carsyn Clark, Kaden and Klayten Stewart, Kyler Stewart, and Henry and Harper Harris.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Bonnie Reed; brothers Tommy and Danny Reed; husband Troy Lee Stewart and son Troy Lee Stewart, Jr.; and great-granddaughter Hadley Grace Stewart.
Throughout the years Betty worked at Liberty Glass in Sapulpa, Kiefer School cafeteria, and the convenience store in Kiefer where she was known best as Mom or Gran-Gran. She enjoyed quilting and sewing with friends.
Betty and Troy met in 1951 at the Movies when she was 13 and Troy was 15. At the age of 15 her and Troy married. By 18 she was mother of 3 rowdy boys; she definitely had her hands full, but her love and dedication was never ending. Her home was always open to family and friends to drop in at any time especially dinner.
She was always right in the middle of what ever her kids and grandkids where doing. Her and Troy spent the summers going on roads trips with the Grandkids; not always with a destination, making up the adventures as they went along.
Betty will be mostly remembered for her overflowing unconditional love, dedication to her family, and always telling it like it is.
